PechaKucha Miami: “Typography: The Bold & The Beautiful”

We are pleased to announce that we are co-producing the April 9th PechaKucha Miami event “Typography: The Bold & The Beautiful.” This event features 6 speakers discussing different aspects of typography. PechaKucha or Pecha Kucha (Japanese: ペチャクチャ, IPA: [petɕa ku͍̥tɕa], chit-chat) is a presentation style in which 20 slides are shown for 20 seconds each (six minutes and 40 seconds in total). The format, which keeps presentations concise and fast-paced, powers multiple-speaker events called PechaKucha Nights (PKNs).

Schrift & Farbe’s creative director, Jill C. Weisberg will be speaking about the history of typography, from ancient hieroglyphics all the way up to today’s technology. Here are the event details:
