Pearl Jam Mural by Brian Butler at FAT Village

Schrift & Farbe Design Group sough out Brian Butler of  The Upperhand Art to paint a giant gigposter-themed mural to kickoff of Pearl Jam’s 2016 North American tour starting at the BB&T Center. The goal of the mural, completed in January of 2016, was to tie-in South Florida, so Brain opted to illustrate a surfing South Florida Skunk Ape and lady friend. The mural was located at FAT Village in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Over 3,000 sets of eyeballs got to see the mural during the third Saturday Fat Village Art Walk. Many thanks to Richard Adler from the Florida Panthers marketing team and Doug McCraw from FAT Village. Extra special thanks to Brian Butler for creating such an outstanding mural.

Super stoked to have had Pearl Jam post about the mural on social media (see below).
